Physical Therapist

There's a $3,000 sign on bonus on the table for the right Physical Therapist who wants to do meaningful work with kids. This is an early intervention role with Powerback Pediatrics in Los Angeles, CA, working with infants and toddlers from birth to age three.

What you'll do

You're providing direct physical therapy services to children. That means you're responsible for the full process: evaluations, assessments, treatment, program planning, and all the related documentation and communication.

• Perform evaluations and assessments for children from birth to three years old.
• Make updates to their Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
• Establish a treatment schedule and deliver services exactly as outlined in each child's IFSP.
• A big part of this job is participating in family and caregiver education. You're not just treating the child; you're supporting their whole circle.

What you need to bring

The non negotiables are pretty clear. You need a valid, unencumbered Physical Therapy license for the state, or proof that you're eligible and licensed. Your degree has to be in Physical Therapy.

• You must have either an Early Intervention Temporary or Full Credential.
• The written and verbal communication has to be effective; you'll be talking with families, caregivers, and your team constantly.
• We need someone who treats every client; and their family; with dignity, compassion, empathy, and respect. That isn't just a line; it's the core of the work.
• You should have some leadership and customer relationship skills. And you've got to be able to analyze problems and use good judgment to solve them independently.
• This role involves a high volume of work. A proven track record handling that kind of pace is important.

The schedule & pay

The posted pay range is $53.00 to $57.00 per hour. On top of that hourly rate, there's that one time $3,000 sign on bonus offered for this position.
