The Spot

This isn't a job for someone who wants to sit still. You'll be the face of the lot for our overnight guests ; the person who makes check in and check out smooth, even at 3 AM. We're The Parking Spot, the biggest near airport parking company in the country, and we've been at it for 25 years. Over 2,000 people work across more than 40 locations, and every single one of us has a direct financial stake in how well we do. This is an on call, overnight only role in Los Angeles, CA. You won't be standing around. You'll be moving.

What You'll Actually Do

• Welcome every guest like they're the only person in the lot. Friendly, professional, no exceptions.
• Work the exit and entry lanes ; you're the fast, pleasant help someone needs after a long flight.
• Answer phones and help customers who are using our mobile services. Some people figure it out on their own. Others need a human. That's you.
• Partner with everyone on shift so the guest experience stays solid from start to finish.
• Keep your work area clean. Not "sort of clean." Clean.
• Tell guests about the TPS Spot Club program if they're interested.
• Cross train for other frontline positions when management asks.
• Do whatever else comes up that reasonably needs doing.

What You Need to Bring

• A high school education or the equivalent. That's it for formal stuff.
• Some customer service experience ; it's preferred, but if you're sharp and you learn fast, we'll talk.
• You can clearly communicate in English. This is a safety thing.
• You're comfortable with Apple products ; iPhones, iPads, tablets. You won't panic when tech changes because you'll adapt.
• You can use a kiosk system and won't fight upgrades.
• You'll work in any weather. Rain, snow, heat, whatever.
• You can stand for most of your shift and lift up to 30 pounds safely. If you need an accommodation for that, bring it up.

Pay and Perks

You start at $13.50 per hour. On top of that, there are regular bonus opportunities for eligible people. Your schedule is consistent ; no guessing game every week.
