About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's a traveling merchandiser role with Retail Odyssey. You're basically the person who makes sure stores look good and products are where they need to be.

What you'd be doing

You'll travel to different retail stores to handle their merchandising. That means you're building displays and setting up end caps, resetting shelves and rotating product, and keeping an eye on inventory so stores don't miss sales. This is a traveling position; regular travel is a primary part of the job. Some roles can require travel 50% of the time or more, which includes overnight hotel stays.

What we're hoping you bring

  • You're 18 years or older.
  • You're okay with the physical side of things: moving, bending, standing for periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • You've got reliable transportation to get to and from your work locations.
  • Interacting with store management and customers in a friendly, enthusiastic way comes naturally to you.
  • The idea of traveling within and outside your home state, with overnight stays, sounds good.
  • You're motivated and can get started on tasks without needing someone over your shoulder.
  • You can work on your own just fine but also know how to be part of a team when needed.
  • You approach the work in a retail environment with safety as your first priority.

The details on pay & benefits

The wage is $16.90 per hour. We promote from within, so there are real growth opportunities here. No prior experience is necessary; we provide training and team support to set you up for success. If you want more hours, they're often available upon request.
