About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's for a Production Technician in Los Angeles, CA. I'm helping a manufacturing company find someone who knows their way around production equipment and can keep things running smoothly. If you're the type who likes to get hands on with machinery and solve problems as they come up, this might be your spot.

What You'd Be Doing

  • Running the production line day to day, making sure it's efficient, consistent, and safe.
  • Working with the engineering team to troubleshoot and fix issues that pop up during production.
  • Keeping an eye on quality control so everything meets our standards.
  • Helping out with developing and putting new manufacturing processes or tech into action.
  • Doing regular inspections and maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns.
  • Monitoring inventory for raw materials and finished products.
  • Going to training sessions or workshops to brush up on your skills.
  • Following all company policies and health & safety rules, of course.
  • Pitching in with ideas to make our production processes better over time.

The Stuff You'll Need

A degree in something technical is required; think Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. You also need at least five years of experience working in a production environment; experience in engineering is a big plus.

  • A solid grasp of how production works, quality control methods, and ways to make manufacturing more effective.
  • You're comfortable using different kinds of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Troubleshooting technical problems is something you're good at; you don't mind digging in to find a solution.
  • The ability to communicate well and work as part of a team matters here. You'll be collaborating with people at all levels.
  • The work can be high pressure sometimes, so you need to handle that stress and still hit deadlines.
  • A sharp eye for detail helps us keep the quality high on everything we make.
  • Knowing health and safety regulations for a production floor is important too. And you should be willing to learn about new technologies as they come along in the industry.

The Schedule & Pay

This is a permanent position. The pay range is $27 - $32 per hour. The schedule details aren't listed here specifically; we'd iron those out during the hiring process based on the team's needs in Los Angeles, CA.

The Benefits They Offer

The company provides health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and an outstanding 401(k) plan. They also have flexible spending accounts (FSAs), an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), parental leave benefits, paid time off (PTO), plus company paid holidays.
