Inside Sales Representative
About This Role
What you'll do
You're the first point of contact for people looking to protect what matters. You'll get sales leads from our members and online, and your main job is to turn those conversations into new policies.

- Once you make a sale, you handle collecting payment, binding the coverage, and entering all the policy details into our systems.
- Answer any underwriting questions that come up.
- Become an expert on all our insurance products; the fine print, the rules, how rates are figured.
- Follow up with current members and look for chances to sell more where it makes sense.
- Tackle problems with memberships or policies. You'll need to use your own judgment here to find solutions.
- The schedule isn't always 9 to 5. You'll work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you bring
A high school diploma is required. If you have a college degree, that's a plus.
- One to three years in insurance sales is preferred.
- You're comfortable with basics of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel.
- You write clearly and can explain complicated things simply over the phone or email.
- The drive to meet a monthly sales goal is essential. This role has a competitive side to it.
- You must be able to qualify for state licenses: a Personal Lines License and a Life Insurance License. Don't worry if you don't have them yet; we provide paid training to help you pass the exams and get licensed.
