Industrial Maintenance Technician

Alright, let's talk about this role. We're helping a firm find an associate attorney for their commercial real estate and business practice. It's a 100% remote position, which is pretty great.

What you'd be doing

You wouldn't be siloed off on your own. You'd work directly with partners and senior attorneys on a mix of business and real estate matters. That means you're in the room for complex transactions and get to interact with clients; often business owners or high net worth individuals.

• Forming business entities and keeping them in good standing.
• Advising clients on corporate governance, tax issues, and planning for business succession.
• Handling commercial acquisitions, financing deals, leasing, and other real estate transactions.
• The drafting and negotiation of various agreements is a core part of the day to day.

What you need to bring

A few things are non negotiable here. First, you must have your J.D. from an accredited law school. Second, you need to be a member in good standing of the California State Bar; that's required for us to move forward.

On the experience side, they're looking for someone with about 2 to 3 years under their belt. That experience should be in transactional work; real estate or corporate transactional law is ideal. If you've got specific commercial real estate experience, that's a definite plus.

They mention strong drafting skills are important. And while being team oriented is preferred, it sounds like that collaborative environment is a big part of how they work.

If you have prior knowledge in areas like mergers & acquisitions, lending and financing, or tax planning? That's helpful but not a dealbreaker if you don't.

The details

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. On top of that, there are quarterly bonuses.
