Environmental Services Tech

Alright, let's talk about this opening. We're looking for an Environmental Services Manager to run the 2nd shift at a healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA. The big selling point? You won't be working weekends.

What you'll be doing

You're in charge of the whole operation for your shift. That means making sure the physical facility meets every health and safety standard on the client's list. You'll develop the plans to make that happen and then execute them.

• You lead the team, plain and simple. You're accountable for the unit's financial and operational performance.
• Coaching your people is a major part of it. You need to get everyone on the same page about goals and how to hit them.
• Recognizing good work and developing talent on your team is on you.
• You'll run team meetings and own safety and sanitation standards across all operations.
• Building a strong relationship with the client is non negotiable. You'll be their main point of contact, keeping them updated and addressing their needs.
• A big part of your role is financial: managing the budget, controlling costs for labor and supplies, and hitting those financial targets for both Aramark and the client.
• You'll implement company operating standards with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and labor productivity.

The background we need

This isn't an entry level gig. We need someone who knows healthcare environments inside out.

• You must have at least three years of experience specifically in healthcare environmental services.
• Up to two years in a management or supervisor role is strongly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, but we'll consider equivalent experience in its place.

The details

This is a 2nd shift position based at Atrium Health Cleveland in Los Angeles, CA. Again, no weekend work with this schedule. The duties here are what matter; they might change if business needs do, sometimes without formal notice. That's just how it works sometimes when you're running an operation.
