What you'll be doing

You'll repair and maintain industrial equipment at our Little Rock, AR facility. That means working on conveying systems and major machine centers like debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers. You'll read drawings and follow printed instructions to get the job done right.

Your day involves moving machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. You'll adjust tension on nuts and bolts, position parts with hand tools and measuring instruments, and set specific clearances between moving and stationary parts. You'll align machines and equipment with hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs. Assembly and installation of equipment using hand tools and power tools is part of the work. You'll lay out mounting holes with measuring instruments and drill them with a power drill. Replacing defective parts, adjusting clearances, and aligning moving parts happens regularly. You'll level bedplates and establish centerlines using straightedges, levels, and transits. And you'll dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools. You'll attach moving parts and subassemblies to the basic assembly unit with hand tools and power tools.

What you need to bring

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Your own basic tools
• A safety orientation and willingness to follow ZES standards
• At least two years of verifiable work experience as a Millwright
• Welding experience ; GMAW and/or SMAW
• Cutting torch experience with Oxygen/Acetylene
• Ability to work night shift and day shift

You'll also need to pass a pre employment drug screen, physical, reference check, and background check.
