The Role
You'll be the Executive Director for our hospice program in Little Rock, AR. This means you own everything: clinical quality, day to day operations, financial performance, and team leadership. Your core mission is to ensure we deliver outstanding, patient centered care while expanding our reach in the community and meeting all regulatory standards.
- Provide hands on leadership for the entire interdisciplinary team.
- You're accountable for clinical outcomes, operational performance, and sustainable census growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our Governing Body, referral partners, and the wider community.
- Oversee all office operations and manage human resources for your location.

What You Need to Bring
We need a licensed Registered Nurse with proven leadership experience. This isn't an entry level management role.
- A current RN license is mandatory.
- You must have strong leadership experience specifically in hospice care, home health, or clinical operations management.
- A deep understanding of the requirements from accrediting agencies, regulatory bodies, and state/federal law is non negotiable.
- The ability to develop policies and procedures that guide service provision.
- Skill in selecting, supervising, and evaluating interdisciplinary team members is key.
- You need to be able to set performance goals with your team and redirect efforts when needed.
- Experience with disciplinary actions and performance evaluations is required.
- The foresight to plan tasks and allocate resources to meet strategic goals consistently.
The Day to Day Stuff
It's a mix of strategy, people management, and rolling up your sleeves. You'll promote compliance with all policies. You'll ensure staff get proper orientation and ongoing education. Part of your week will involve reviewing facts thoroughly before making decisions that impact the entire location. And you'll be responsible for managing contracts with any outside vendors or service providers we use.

TIPPING POINT POLICY:
For positions in California only: Under the CA Pay Transparency Law (SB 1162), we must provide pay scale information. The base salary range for this position in California is $120k - $150k annually. Final compensation depends on factors like experience & education. Bonuses may also apply. This range is specific to CA roles only; pay scales differ in other states due to various factors. For Colorado applicants: The estimated salary range is $48 - $60 per hour. Pay varies by candidate qualifications & location within CO.
