At Resort Lifestyle Communities, your work supports the Independent Senior Living communities we serve. We're looking for a Tax Senior Accountant at our Corporate Office in Lincoln, NE. What You'll Actually Do

The core of this role is tax and regulatory compliance across multiple states. But it also touches financial reporting and collaboration with internal teams. Here's what's on the plate:

• Support corporate and multi state tax compliance: jurisdictional tax research, business licensing, audit or examination support with documentation and response coordination
• Handle fiscal year end tax readiness and 1099 reporting
• Prepare annual workpapers for Federal and State income tax filings
• Prepare and file periodic sales, use, occupancy, lodging, and related tax reports across applicable jurisdictions
• Manage real and personal property tax reporting: payment processing, estimates, balances, accruals
• Perform fixed asset accounting ; depreciation analysis, reconciliation, reporting
• Complete monthly compliance and tax reporting for investment, corporate, and related entities
• Collaborate on financial reporting processes: rent roll preparation, financial statement support
• Participate in budget planning and preparation activities
• Support staff development initiatives ; training new team members and interns
• Assist with advanced accounting review: bank reconciliations expense allocations recurring transactions error resolution intercompany accounting (yes that run on was intentional because it all stacks up)
• Work within ERP accounting systems including Census App PM3 Event1 Sage 300 AvidXchange AnterraBI Timberscan eProcurement platforms

The Skills And Experience You Need To Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• You need experience in federal taxation multi state jurisdictions partnership accounting concepts.
• A CPA firm background or comparable tax focused role is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of GAAP ; not just theory but how to apply it practically.

• The ability to learn quickly work effectively with minimal supervision.

• A service oriented mindset ; communicating professionally respectfully compassionately with residents investors colleagues whoever comes your way.
