Territory Sales Manager

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's for a Territory Sales Manager with Ameritas, and it's remote. You'd be covering the Lexington, KY area.

What you'd be doing

You're building the relationships that drive sales. Your main focus is selling our Dental, Vision, and Hearing employee benefit products through brokers and agents in your territory.

• Develop and maintain those business relationships to hit your sales goals.
• You need to get a real handle on our group products and how the brokerage community works.
• Support new sales pushes for both existing and new products.
• Work with our internal teams to make sure everything gets processed correctly from sale to policy issuance.
• Find new customer opportunities by partnering with brokers in your area.
• Manage the existing book of business to find chances for more sales with current clients.
• A lot of this comes down to maintaining strong producer relationships through your product knowledge and service.

The background we're looking for

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience will get you in the door. From there, it's about what you can learn and how you operate.

• You've got to be able to learn the insurance and financial services industry, including our specific products and how we market them.
• We need someone who can hold their own with partners, build relationships easily, and work well with a team internally.
• Your interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills have to be solid.
• This role needs a self starter who's energized, motivated, good at solving problems, and focused on results.
• Strong time management, organization, and project management abilities are non negotiable.

The details & what we provide

The position is remote; you don't have to report to an office. They'd really like you to be based in or around Lexington, KY though. The pay range is $71,000 to $178,000. That range factors in base salary plus potential incentive bonuses.
