The Role
Valley Hospital Medical Center needs a Nurse Supervisor in Las Vegas, NV. You'll manage patient care services during your shift, keeping quality high and operations running smoothly. This isn't a desk job; you're on the floor, supervising staff and making sure everything clicks for patients and nurses alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee total patient care activities throughout your assigned shift.
- Promote quality outcomes by managing nursing staff and resources effectively.
- Work within a collaborative practice model that focuses on evidence based care.
- Support performance improvement and patient safety standards every day.
What You'll Need
- A degree from an accredited nursing school; a BSN is non negotiable here.
- Five years of clinical experience under your belt.
- At least one year working as a Charge RN.
- You need to show you can provide care appropriate to any age group we serve ; no exceptions.
Licenses & Certifications
- A current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- BLS and ACLS certifications, both current.
Technical Skills
You should be comfortable with computers ; word processing, spreadsheets, databases. Nothing exotic, but you won't be hand writing schedules or reports here.
