The Role
This is a Nurse Manager position for the Rehab Unit at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. You'll oversee the daily function and staffing of the unit, making sure every shift runs smoothly and patients get top notch care. You'll keep an eye on nursing care delivery, enforce policies and procedures, and hold your team accountable for quality outcomes and clinical results that support the facility's broader goals.
You'll also help build a strong clinical identity on the unit by putting evidence based practices into action, with an eye toward improving patient safety and quality of care.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the overall daily function and staffing of the rehab unit
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care to ensure it follows established policies and procedures
- Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes that align with facility objectives
- Operationalize evidence based practices to boost patient safety and quality
What You Need
- An Associate Degree in Nursing or an RN Diploma ; that's the minimum requirement
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required
- At least one year of applicable experience
- A current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) where you'll practice, or an active compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Salary
The estimated pay range for this role is $104,270.40 to $156,416.00 per year. Your actual salary depends on things like your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and how you compare to others already in the role. Typically, candidates are hired below the midpoint of that range.
