What you'll actually do here
You're the person making sure the surgeon has exactly what they need, when they need it, during GI and endoscopy procedures. This isn't a passive job. You'll be right there in the operating room, handling instrumentation and keeping things moving smoothly.
The place
Valley Hospital Medical Center sits right in the heart of Las Vegas, NV. It's an acute care and teaching hospital that's been around since 1972 ; serving Southern Nevada with everything from advanced cardiology to neurology and surgery. It's part of The Valley Health System, which runs seven hospitals across Las Vegas, NV and Southern Nevada. That system is owned by Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the largest healthcare providers in the country with 99,000 employees and over 400 facilities nationwide.
What you bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of on the job Endoscopy experience is preferred.
- You must have a current BLS certification.
- Certification as a Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) is required.
The technical stuff
Your main job: performing technical responsibilities that help operating surgeons with instrumentation during surgical interventions. Every case is different, so you've got to stay sharp and ready.

A quick warning about scams
