The Role

Every heartbeat matters ; and as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, you're the one who helps protect them. You'll stand alongside physicians and colleagues delivering advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. With access to state of the art cath lab technology and a strong team by your side, you're empowered to deliver safe, high quality care. You'll guide patients and families through their journey and ensure precision in every step of treatment.

What You'll Do

  • Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
  • Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
  • Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
  • Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
  • Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Qualifications

  • Diploma from a school of Cardiovascular Technology or graduate of a licensed Radiologic Technology school
  • Current Invasive Cardiovascular Registry (RCIS) with Nevada Radiology Limited Fluoroscopy license ; or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Current BCLS
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire or transfer
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a hospital environment

Pay

Hourly wage is estimated between $47.02 and $70.48. Your actual salary depends on your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and how you compare to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.
