Cardiac RN

Summerlin Hospital is a 496 bed facility in Las Vegas, NV. It's a busy place. They handle emergency services, a maternity department with about 450 deliveries a month, and a full Children’s Medical Center. For this role, the focus is on their advanced cardiovascular care; they're an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center.

The job is to manage the assigned nursing unit around the clock, making sure patient care meets the standard.

What You'll Need

A few things are non negotiable for this position.

• You must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• A BSN is required.
• You need at least two years of clinical experience.
• You also need one to two years of progressive management experience.
• Your RN license has to be current in the State of Nevada.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Computer skills are part of it; word processing, spreadsheets, databases.
• And you have to be able to show you know how to provide care appropriate for the age of the patients on your unit.
