Registered Nurse

Alright, let's talk about this RN opening at Casa De Oro Center in Las Cruces, NM. We've got openings on night shifts; full time, part time, and per diem. The work is in long term care, and it's the kind of nursing where you really get to know people. You'll build relationships with patients, residents, and their families over time.

The Work

You'll be responsible for a group of patients with a wide range of complex conditions. It means you're always learning.

• Do nursing assessments and work with the team, other departments, patients, and families to put solid care plans together.
• Set realistic short and long term goals for patients. You'll adjust the plan as needed to help prevent return trips to the hospital.
• Administer medications and carry out treatments per doctor's orders.
• A big part of the job is delegating tasks to your staff and supervising them to make sure everything gets done right.
• Communicating clearly is non negotiable. You'll pass on patient information to your assigned staff and during shift changes.

What You Need

A couple of boxes you have to tick.

• You must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• You need a current license from the State Board of Nursing.
• A CPR certification is required.

The Schedule & Pay

This is for night shifts. We have full time, part time, and per diem schedules available. The posted pay range is $34.00 to $42.00 per hour.
