About This Role
The Role
This is a Registered Nurse position at a long term care campus in Lafayette, IN. You'll lead a team of direct care providers and make sure medications, treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning, and patient care conferencing all get done right, following the Health Campus Policies and Procedures.
You're the person who uses the nursing process every day, keeping care continuous from admission through discharge and back to the community. You'll visit residents on your assigned unit daily to check on their physical and emotional status. If something changes with a resident, you notify the charge nurse, the physician, or the Director of Nursing. And if there's an emergency and no doctor is around, you'll step in and start lifesaving measures. You'll also handle admin work like completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
What You Need
- A current, valid state RN license ; you must have it and keep it active
- A current, valid CPR certification
Schedule & Pay
You'll get paid weekly with quarterly wage increases. That's right ; your pay can go up every three months.
