This is a Customer Service Representative role with Speedy Cash, part of the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, in Knoxville, TN. It's an entry level spot where you're helping people in your community get the financial services they need ; check cashing, money transfers, processing payments. You're the face of the place, building real connections with customers who walk through the door.

What You'll Actually Do

• Connect with customers to build relationships that keep them coming back.
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions accurately ; checks, payments, money transfers.
• Offer personalized financial services that fit each customer's lifestyle.
• Enter and maintain customer information in the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision.
• Make daily call campaigns to bring in new business.
• Help manage customer accounts and collections by taking payments and scheduling appointments.
• Handle duties outside the store when needed ; on site vehicle appraisals, errands, external marketing.
• Participate in in store and community events.
• Keep the store clean and organized to make sure customers have a good experience.
• Follow security protocols and handle opening and closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer management.
• Stay compliant with company policies and regulations.

What You Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills ; you can talk to customers and coworkers like a professional.
• Attention to detail and comfort with data entry.
• Basic computer skills: phones, POS system, Microsoft Office.
• You're at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• You'll pass a background check.
• This job has physical demands: you'll be standing up to 90% of the time, lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, moving inside and outside the store, and using a keyboard.

Nice to Have

• Experience with check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
• Prior cash handling or cash drawer/vault management.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ; it's a plus and might be required for some locations.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and your own vehicle to use during the workday (mileage is compensated).

The Pay

The hourly wage is $15.00 per hour. That's just one piece of the total compensation package.
