The Gist of It

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City needs a Sleep Technologist in Kansas City, MO for a PRN night shift position. Hours run from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. If you're RPSGT or RRT certified, this might be a good fit.

What You'll Actually Do

This is a clinical role where you handle the full scope of sleep testing. You're not just running the machine and walking away.

  • Perform diagnostic polysomnographic testing from start to finish
  • Assess patient histories and physicals alongside sleep related data
  • Set up MSLT and home sleep studies as needed
  • Analyze and score polysomnographic records
  • Develop and monitor planned interventions in collaboration with the medical staff
  • Attend staff meetings, follow departmental protocols, and keep up with continuing education
  • Take on other duties as assigned

What You Need

  • 1 year of applicable experience
  • An Associate Degree
  • RPSGT or RRT certification is required
  • BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is preferred

The Schedule

This is a PRN (as needed) night position. Shifts are 12.5 hours long: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You'll be covering nights at Saint Luke's in Kansas City, MO.
