Packaging Operator

The Job

This is a Warehouse Order Picker / Packer role in Kansas City, MO with a client that runs a distribution center for outdoor recreation products. You'll be working in the warehouse operations side of things, interacting with robotic equipment to get orders out the door.

What You'll Actually Do

• Operate robotic order picking equipment to pull products quickly and accurately
• Check product info, quantities, and lot numbers so orders are right every time
• Pack orders with the right materials so nothing gets damaged during shipping
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation using handheld scanners and warehouse software
• Watch robotic systems for errors, jams, or alerts and flag issues to maintenance or supervisors

Schedule & Pay

The shift runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 5:30am to 5:30pm, plus every other Wednesday from 5:30am to 4pm. One week you'll work 36 hours, the next week 46 hours. Pay is $17.50 an hour.

What You'll Need

• You're on your feet and walking most of the shift ; roughly 6 to 9 miles a day
• Some warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working around automated or robotic warehouse systems (they'll train you)
• Can use handheld scanners, computers, and basic warehouse software
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
