About This Role

What This Oral Surgery Role Offers

Compensation here is structured as the greater of a guaranteed daily minimum or a percentage of adjusted production. That daily minimum falls between $1,000 and $4,000. No lab fees come out of your pocket. You'll get company paid malpractice insurance. There's a 401(k) available. The scheduling is flexible ; we're talking 1 to 2 days per month, worked around whatever your existing practice or hospital schedule already looks like.

What You'd Actually Do

This is a PRN, moonlighting gig. It's designed to fit into your calendar, not replace it. The idea is you get a consistent day or two each month to do surgery without the overhead or long term commitment of a full time role. You'd be working in a supportive dental environment with dedicated dental assistants trained for oral surgery procedures. The office runs DentaPro software and has digital x ray and Panorex units on hand. Yearly training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management is provided.

  • Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases
  • Provide surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate
  • Deliver oral surgery care efficiently and safely
  • Partner with dental office teams to ensure compliant, patient centered care

What You Need to Bring

A DDS or DMD from a CODA accredited dental program is required. You also need completion of a CODA accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency. You'll need an active dental license in the state of practice ; or eligibility for licensure. Current BLS, ACLS, DEA, and applicable state credentials are non negotiable. Beyond the credentials, we're looking for someone with compassion and a real desire to provide oral surgery care in a community dental setting.
