Schedule & Pay

This is a part time day shift position. You'll work 24 hours a week.

The schedule rotates weekends and holidays. You need to be ready for that.

You'll also float to all four of our metro hospital entities as needed; it's part of the job.

What You'll Do Here

You're the nurse accountable for using the full nursing process with our smallest patients. That means you own your assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations.

You'll coordinate the plan of care for your assigned group of infants, consulting with the rest of the healthcare team to make sure we get the best possible outcomes. It's about seeing the whole picture for each baby and family.

A big part of this role is delegation and supervision. You're responsible for performing direct patient care, but also for delegating tasks appropriately and supervising other patient care staff on your shift.

We run on policies and procedures. Demonstrating proficiency in them and following our guidelines is non negotiable for keeping our unit safe and effective.

What You Need to Bring

• A Missouri Registered Nurse license through NURSYS.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• At least two years of applicable nursing experience.
• Your Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• A current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
