The Job Itself
Saint Luke's North in Kansas City, MO needs a full time MRI Technologist for their Radiology team. You'd be based in a Convenient Care/Imaging Center setting, which keeps things interesting. And yeah, you might help out in other modalities or take on other duties as they come up. This role is all about performing MRI procedures to support direct patient care.
Schedule is Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 11:30 AM to midnight.
What You'll Actually Do
- Perform MRI exams with or without contrast
- Handle MRI Guided biopsies (how often depends on the location you're at)
- Do thorough screening and device research before every scan, following SLHS MRI Safety protocols
What You Need to Bring
Less than one year of experience is fine. Associates degree is required if you graduated in 2017 or later. ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification is preferred, but if you don't have it yet, you'll need to take and pass the MR registry within 12 months of hire. Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is also required.
We're looking for someone patient centered and self driven. You should be organized, adaptable, and resourceful. You'll need to work well in a team but also be comfortable handling things on your own. If you're motivated and committed to quality patient care, you'll fit in here.
