About This Role

Hey there. If you're a nursing student and you actually like your clinical rotations, I've got something for you.

This is a PRN Nurse Intern role across our HCA Midwest Health hospitals in Kansas City, MO. It's built entirely around your school schedule. You apply once, we talk about what you're interested in, and we find a spot that fits. Could be summers or winter breaks. The goal is to give you real hands on time now and set you up for a Graduate Nurse position later.

What You'd Be Doing

You'll work under an RN's supervision, helping the patient care team with basic nursing functions and activities of daily living. Think of it as taking what you're learning in class and applying it directly.

  • Deliver high quality, patient centered care as delegated.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients.
  • After orientation and a skills check off, you'll get to perform higher level procedures once you've proven competency. It's hands on experience working alongside a nurse.
