What you'll do

Your day is built around being the central point for your patients' care. You'll supervise treatments and lead their initial assessments. From there, you build and tailor the care plan, making sure it fits exactly what they need to recover.

• You're the one patients and their families come to with questions or concerns. Building that trust is a big part of the job.
• A lot of your time involves collaborating with different departments; therapy, pharmacy, you name it; to make sure everyone is coordinated.
• When needed, you'll jump in to provide direct patient care yourself.
• The other nurses on your unit will see you as a resource, especially for more complex cases.

What we need from you

The licenses are non negotiable, but we can talk about the experience. Here’s the breakdown:

• A valid RN license for the state is required.
• You need current CPR certification. If you have your ACLS too, that’s a strong plus.
• They'd love it if you already have or are willing to get your CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification.
• Ideally, you've got at least one year of experience working in a rehabilitation hospital setting. If not, tell me about your relevant acute care or med surg background.
