Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Work

You'll handle just about everything that keeps the physical plant operational and safe. That means preventive maintenance and fixing things when they break.

• Working on building systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry all fall under your scope.
• Maintaining equipment and vehicles, including servicing forklifts and diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Daily inspections of the grounds to spot safety hazards or anything out of place.
• Landscaping duties and snow or ice removal when needed.
• Coordinating with other teams and outside vendors to get work orders completed.

What You Need

We need someone who already knows their way around a toolbox and a complex facility. Here are the specifics:

• A solid 3 years of hands on experience in facilities, building, and grounds maintenance is required.
• You have to be proficient with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.
• The ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics accurately is non negotiable.
• You'll need solid organizational skills to juggle different tasks and priorities every day.
• A working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations is part of the job.

The Details & What You Get

The shift is Monday through Friday. The pay range starts at $18 per hour. This is a contract to hire role through Manpower; perform well, and there's real potential for permanent placement with the client.
