HVAC Installer ; Florida Home Air Conditioning

Florida Home Air Conditioning, part of American Residential Services, is looking for an energetic laborer or helper in Jacksonville, FL. ARS has been around since 1975. What you'll actually do

• Assemble the equipment and materials you need to start and finish each job
• Keep your tools and equipment in good working order
• Help with installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems
• Haul materials and tools to the job site, and keep a proper inventory of them
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Gather any salvageable materials from the field and bring them back to the warehouse
• Dispose of all trash and debris
• Follow all safety rules and company regulations, and always wear your issued safety gear
• Lift more than 75 pounds

What you need to bring

• A high school diploma or GED
• Some prior work experience is a plus
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, and you can communicate clearly
• You'll need to work evenings and weekends, with minimal supervision
• An EPA certification

Pay and benefits

You'll earn between $17 and $20 an hour, depending on your interview and experience. Benefits kick in after 31 days. Here's what we offer:
