Dental Assistant

What this job is about

Dr. Hodan Rabile's practice in Irving, TX needs a Dental Assistant who shows up ready to work and cares about the people in the chair. You'll support the dentist directly, keep rooms running smoothly, and make sure every patient leaves feeling taken care of. This is a full time, in person position.

What you'll actually do

• Set up treatment rooms and lay out instruments before each procedure
• Hand instruments and assist the dentist during exams and treatments
• Take and process dental X rays
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols to the letter
• Prepare and organize dental materials and equipment as needed
• Teach patients about oral hygiene and what to do after their treatment
• Keep patient records updated and accurate
• Make sure treatment rooms stay clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Work with the rest of the dental team to keep things moving efficiently

What you need to bring

• Some previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred
• You know your way around dental procedures and instruments
• X ray certification ; preferred or required depending on your state's rules
• You're good with people and can explain things clearly to patients
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
• A positive attitude and a real willingness to work as part of a team

Pay and schedule

This is a full time role at a real practice in Irving, TX, not a remote gig. Compensation runs from $12 to $18 an hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
