About This Role
Regents Point in Irvine, CA is looking for a Registered Nurse for its Skilled Nursing team. We're one of the HumanGood communities, and we operate a bit differently here. The focus is entirely on person directed care, which means you'll be central to making that philosophy real for our residents.
What you'll do
You’ll oversee the total nursing needs of residents. Your day is built around their daily life rhythm, not just a task list. A big part of your role is developing assignments with the care partners and making sure everyone on the team is accountable for the quality of care and resident satisfaction. You're also responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Duties can be adjusted by the Director of Nursing or their designee.
The schedule & pay
This is a full time position. You must have open availability for both the 7 AM to 3 PM and the 3 PM to 11 PM shifts. You also need to be available to work weekends and holidays.
The pay range is $50 to $54 per hour, depending on your experience.
What you need
- Completion of a Licensed Registered Nursing Program.
- A current RN license in California.
- Current CPR certification.
- Clinical observation and assessment skills are essential.
- You need proficient computer skills to complete documentation, review electronic health records, and communicate with the team.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Experience in senior care or rehabilitation is also preferred.
Benefits for full time team members
- You start with 20 days of paid time off plus 7 company holidays; this increases with your years of service.
- A 401(k) plan with up to a 4% employer match. There's no waiting period for funds to vest.
- Health, Dental, and Vision Plans that start on the first of the month after your hire date.
- A $25 per line cell phone plan (plus tax).
- Tuition Reimbursement program.
- A five star, employer paid employee assistance program.
The bigger picture
HumanGood is the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California. We offer more than just a job; it's a chance to be part of something that focuses on helping people become their best selves. Our benefits package can add up to 40% on top of your base pay.
