About This Role

Alright, let's get straight to it. We're a national general contractor with a full slate of large commercial projects, and we need someone to run them. This isn't about sitting in meetings all day; it's about being the person on the ground who makes things happen, from the first drawing to handing over the keys. If you've been leading crews and running sites for at least four years, I want to talk to you.

The Work

You'll be in charge of the entire jobsite. That means you're responsible for the crew, the schedule, safety, quality, and making sure all the subcontractors are rowing in the same direction. You'll solve problems as they come up; and they always do; and make sure the project gets delivered right.

  • Lead all site operations and field management for major commercial builds.
  • Handle labor relations, including working within union environments.
  • Manage subcontractors, safety protocols, and strict schedule execution.
  • Train or mentor other staff on technical processes and quality standards.
  • Use scheduling software and other project management tools to keep everything on track.

What You Need to Bring

I need someone who's done this before and knows how a building goes together. You should be comfortable making decisions independently and communicating clearly with everyone from tradespeople to executives.

  • A solid four years or more supervising commercial construction sites.
  • A proven history of successfully delivering construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and technical components.
  • Excellent time management; you can juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • OSHA 30 certification, plus First Aid and CPR (or you can get them quickly).
  • Experience with construction scheduling software and project management platforms is a must.

The Good Stuff

The pay range is $100,000 to $130,000 per year. On top of that salary, there's an annual bonus tied to your performance and the project's success. You'll be working on complex, high profile projects that aren't going anywhere soon; this role comes with long term stability. We offer a full benefits package and have clear paths for professional growth if you're looking to advance into leadership.

A Couple More Things

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field is preferred but not a deal breaker if your experience is strong enough. Some working knowledge of LEED or sustainable construction practices would be a nice bonus too.
