Jobot

Supply Chain Coordinator

Jobot·Indianapolis, IN

About This Role

Here’s the deal. We need someone to help keep our hospital stocked and running smoothly. It’s a morning job, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

What you'll be doing

You're the link between our warehouse and the people who need supplies. You'll handle everything from when a shipment arrives until it's in the right hands on a patient floor.

  • Take deliveries in, check them against orders, and get everything logged into our system correctly.
  • Keep track of what we have on hand. That means doing regular counts and updating stock levels so we never run out of important items.
  • Deliver supplies all over the hospital; to nursing units, operating rooms, clinics. You make sure the right stuff gets where it needs to go.
  • Use equipment like pallet jacks and carts to move things around safely.
  • Work directly with nurses and department staff to fill urgent requests or special orders.
  • Keep our storage areas organized, clean, and following all the health and safety rules.
  • Look for ways we can do things smarter, cut down on waste, and save money without cutting corners.

The kind of person we need

We're looking for someone reliable who shows up ready to work. You don't need a fancy degree for this, but you do need common sense and a strong back.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • It'd be great if you've used a forklift or pallet jack before. If not, we can train you on our specific equipment.
  • You can lift heavy boxes and move loaded carts throughout your shift.
  • You pay close attention when checking in shipments; catching mistakes here saves everyone headaches later.
  • You understand basic warehouse safety and are careful with equipment.
  • You listen well and can follow instructions in a busy place where things change fast.
  • Being on time matters here; teams are counting on supplies being ready when they start their day.
  • A little comfort with computers or an inventory system is helpful. We'll show you our software.
  • You're okay with all our hospital policies on safety, infection control, and keeping patient information private.

The schedule & pay

The hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay range is $18 to $20 per hour based on your experience with material handling or similar work. This is a full time position located in Indianapolis, IN.

A bit about us

The work here matters because people rely on us every day. We try hard to build a place where people feel respected as professionals and as individuals. Where good ideas are welcome no matter who has them. And where supporting each other isn't just talk; it's how we get through tough days together. If you want your job to mean something more than just a paycheck, you might fit right in here.
