About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this Retail Supervisor role in Indianapolis, IN. It's a full time position with Advantage Solutions. I've been placing people here for years; they're a major player in retail merchandising, and this is a job for someone who likes being out in stores, leading a team, and getting things done right.
What you'd be doing
You're the one making sure everything looks perfect on the shelf. Your main focus is hitting all the client's goals by directing a team of retail associates across your assigned area.
- Managing and directing those retail associates is your core responsibility.
- A big part of that involves conducting store audits and finishing every retail project on your list.
- You'll keep products fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to the planograms.
- Building and keeping up solid relationships with clients is key; you'll handle setting work appointments.
- Watching the budget for your position and team is part of the deal, so you'll actively regulate expenses.
- The job includes accurate communication, admin work, and coaching duties with your direct reports. Timeliness matters here.
The kind of person we need
This isn't an entry level gig. You need to have been in the retail world for a while and know how to lead people.
- We're looking for about 4 years of solid retail experience. At least 2 of those years need to be in a supervisory role where you were managing others.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred, but not an absolute deal breaker if your experience is strong.
- You've got to be great at communicating, both when you write something down and when you're talking to people.
- The workload comes at you fast. You need to be cool with handling multiple duties that change often and have competing deadlines, all while staying accurate.
- Basic computer skills are necessary. You should know your way around Microsoft Office programs like Word or Excel.
The details & how to apply
The schedule is full time. They offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. There's a 401(k) plan with a company match. You get paid training and access to skills development workshops. Paid time off is included too; it's generous.
The company will keep this job open until they find the right person.
If this sounds like your kind of challenge; leading a team, working with big brands in stores, and having clear goals; then apply today using the link on this page. Make sure your resume highlights those 4 years of retail experience and your 2 years supervising people.
