The gross weekly rate goes up to $2,864.
What You'd Be Doing
- Providing direct nursing care based on established policies.
- Your day involves implementing, monitoring, and recording patient care plans.
- You'll coordinate care with other disciplines and carry out orders from physicians and nurses.
- A big piece is assessing patients and managing discharge planning alongside the rest of the team.
What You Absolutely Need to Have

- A Registered Nurse license. You need this before your hire or transfer date. If you're traveling, you must have either a compact RN license or a state license for where you're assigned before you start.

- A Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification, also from AHA or Red Cross. This one needs to be obtained within six months (180 days) of your start date.
- A nursing diploma from an accredited school or college.
- At least one year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Not a clinic, not home health; acute care.
