About This Role

The Role

Badger Daylighting needs a Parts Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. You'll take requests from operations and fleet, pick the right parts, receive inventory from purchase orders, and put everything away where it belongs. Parts distribution and inventory management are central to this job ; you're making sure items move smoothly and customers get what they need on time.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Sort incoming parts and put them in designated storage spots, whether that's in the warehouse or outside areas
  • Operate a forklift
  • Pick items requested by operations and fleet using transfer orders
  • Work closely with the material transfer team to assemble and build kits in the system so they're ready for picking when needed
  • Ship picked orders to customers through Badger's preferred small package and freight carriers
  • Keep a positive, solution focused attitude when working with operations and fleet

What You Need

High school diploma or GED is required. You'll also need a forklift certification or the ability to get certified. We'd prefer you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a parts department, but if you don't quite hit that mark and think you're still a good fit, go ahead and apply anyway.
