In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and replace residential electrical systems. You'll also lead customers to informed, confident buying decisions by delivering an extraordinary experience every time.

What You'll Actually Do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential homes ; things like wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform electrical inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes, electrical standards, and local regulations.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes to plan and complete installations.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to keep them safe and performing long term.
• Provide accurate estimates and timelines for electrical projects.
• Work closely with homeowners, contractors, and other tradespeople to keep projects smooth and efficient.
• Document all work performed ; repairs, upgrades, inspections ; you name it.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and safety practices.
• Participate in an on call service rotation.

What You Need To Bring

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work, preferably residential.
• A valid driver's license so you can drive a company vehicle.
• The ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently.
• Proficiency with test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills ; you can figure things out.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• You must be able to see color to work with color coded wiring.
• This job involves prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• You'll need to pull wires and cables through conduits.
• Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering up to 50 pounds is part of the work.
