About This Role
Alright, let's get straight to it. We need someone who knows their way around a circuit board and an X ray machine.
The Work
You'll be inspecting printed circuit board assemblies; PCBA's; for our defense customers. The work is precise and follows strict standards.
- Use X ray equipment to inspect surface mount and through hole components on PCBA's.
- All inspection is done to IPC Class 3 standards, which is the highest reliability class.
- A lot of this involves working under a microscope for detailed examination.
- When you find an issue, you'll do the hand solder rework or touch up yourself.
- You're working toward daily objectives where your output really matters for the team.
You'll operate with a good deal of independence, but you aren't on an island. You'll interact with different project teams, production teams, and various functions within the shop. It's a team environment where communication matters.
