Registered Nurse

About the Role

This is a nursing job where you get to know people. You'll be the RN for a group of patients and residents with a wide range of complex conditions, which means you're never bored and always learning.

The work is in a long term care setting at Heritage Center WV in Huntington, WV.

What You'll Do

• Complete nursing assessments and work with the team, other specialists, patients, and families to build solid care plans.
• Set practical short and long term goals for patients. You'll adjust the plan as needed to help prevent return hospital visits and keep evaluating how things are going.
• Give medications and perform treatments following doctor's orders.
• Assign patient care tasks to your staff and oversee their work to make sure everything gets done correctly.
• Pass along important patient details to your assigned staff and to the next shift coming in.

What You Need

• A diploma from an approved nursing school.
• A current RN license from the State Board of Nursing.
• You have to have CPR certification.

The Schedule & Pay

This is a full time position. The pay range is $36.00 to $39.00 per hour.
