Nurse Manager

What You'll Be Doing

You'll report to the Director of Nursing, but you're the one in charge on your assigned unit. Your main focus is leading your team to deliver great care that gets positive results for patients and residents.

• You’re running the whole operation for your nursing unit. That means coordinating all patient care and directing your staff.
• Making sure every part of care meets our standards, follows state and federal rules, and aligns with accepted nursing practices is on you.
• You’ll work directly with doctors, rehab therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care and get the best outcomes for everyone on your unit.
• Managing your team is a big part of it. You’ll handle recruiting, training new hires, and evaluating performance. You’re also responsible for keeping overtime and agency staff use in check.

What You Need to Have

The requirements are pretty straightforward, but non negotiable.

• A nursing diploma or degree from an accredited school is mandatory.
• You must have a current RN license from the state board of nursing.

The Pay & The Perks

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $86,000 per year. On top of that base pay, there are variable compensation plans available.
