Ultrasound Technologist

About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this Ultrasound Tech role at Houston Women's Care Associates in Houston, TX. I've been placing people here for years, and this is one of the better schedules I've seen. It's a straight day shift, Monday through Friday. No nights, no call, no weekends, and no holidays. That's the real deal.

What you'd be doing

You're the person running the show for ultrasound diagnostics here. That means you're handling the schedule for these procedures and getting patients ready by explaining exactly what's going to happen. When it's time for the scan, you're doing the full procedure: positioning the patient and choosing the right transducer for the job.

Afterward, you manage all the processing and paperwork. We're talking about developing film, creating hard copy images, documenting test results, and making sure all the department records are accurate. You'll also keep an eye on the ultrasound equipment; if something isn't working right, you'll flag it for management.

What you need to bring

  • A minimum of one year of experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer.
  • Your certification in diagnostic ultrasound, following all state regulations.
  • A current ARDMS license is required.

The package

They offer a full benefits package that covers health, retirement, time off; the works. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Medical coverage that includes prescription drugs, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services.
  • Wellbeing programs with free counseling and referral services.
  • Plans for paid time off and paid family leave. They also have long term and short term disability coverage.
  • A 401(k) plan with a company match; they'll match 100% of what you put in from 3% up to 9% of your pay (how much they match depends on your years of service).
  • An Employee Stock Purchase Plan and tools to help with financial planning.
  • Support for continuing education through tuition assistance and help with student loans. They also offer certification support and have a partnership with Galen College of Nursing.
  • Additional benefits like fertility and family building support, adoption assistance, life insurance, and discounts on things like auto and home insurance.

How to apply:
