Alright, let's talk about this PRN role. It's for a Multi Modality Radiology Tech at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake in Houston, TX. This isn't your standard 9 to 5; it's an as needed position where you'll be covering different areas of the imaging department. You've got to be ready to roll when they call.
What You'd Be Doing
You're the person running the show for all radiological procedures. That means you're moving equipment, setting exposure factors, and getting the images we need. Your day could be in diagnostic, the OR, fluoroscopy; wherever you're needed that shift.
- Work directly with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to figure out the best plan for each patient.
- Positioning x ray equipment and adjusting controls is a core part of the job.
- You'll assist doctors during diagnostic procedures.
- A big part of your focus is on radiation safety, minimizing exposure for both patients and staff.
- When you're on call, you need to be able to get to the hospital within 30 minutes of getting that call.
What You Need to Bring
We need someone who's trained and certified. Here's the non negotiable list.
- Your education has to come from an accredited radiology technology program or its equivalent.
- A valid Texas Department of Health license as a Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (CMRT) is required.
- You must have your A.R.R.T. (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also mandatory.
A year of previous experience working in a hospital is a definite plus. An Associate Degree fits well here too.

This is a PRN position. The schedule is variable, based on the needs of the department. The pay range for this role is $27.64 - $41.46 per hour, which is based on a number of factors including your experience and qualifications.
