Call Center Representative

The Role

This is a full time position in our 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Honolulu, HI. You'll work a Mid Shift, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedule, and yes, that includes holidays and weekends. The job is similar to a 911 emergency dispatcher in terms of the urgency and focus required. You're not just answering phones; you're responding to alarm signals in a way that directly impacts life safety.

What You'll Do

You'll be at the heart of our monitoring operation. It's a role that demands quick, accurate decisions and a steady hand.

• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in our automation software, following documented procedures every time.
• When needed, you call the premise, notify the authorities, and work through a list of contacts.
• Log every piece of information into the automation system immediately and accurately.
• Answer the multi line telephone system and handle calls calmly and efficiently.
• Keep customer information confidential at all times.

What You Need

Here's what we're looking for. It's straightforward.

• High School Diploma or GED is required. Some college is preferred.
• 1 3 years of work experience.
• Type 30+ words per minute. You'll take a pre hire typing assessment.
• You can prioritize and handle multiple tasks without losing your cool.
• You follow written and verbal instructions well.
• You work with a high degree of urgency and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• A positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous improvement.

The Training

If you're selected, you'll go through a paid training class. At the end, there's a final exam. Passing it certifies you as an Alarm Monitoring Operator. We take this seriously, and so should you.
