Evening RN Supervisor Job

This role is for someone who wants to step up. You'll take charge on the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift, running clinical operations and making real decisions. It's a leadership position where your experience counts from day one.

What You'll Do

You report to the Director of Nursing. That's your anchor. From there, you're running the nursing units on your shift, making sure everything lines up with Genesis policies, practice standards, and state regulations.

• Lead and direct the clinical operations on your assigned shift. You're the go to person for the nursing staff during evening hours.
• Implement the care delivery model and processes. Make sure care happens the way it's supposed to.
• Work with the Director of Nursing to keep nursing staff levels adequate for safe 24/7 care. Keep overtime and agency use to a minimum.
• Get involved in recruitment. Help with new hire orientation and mentor staff. You'll also make recommendations on promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Support the Director of Nursing with delivering efficient and effective nursing care. That means positive clinical outcomes and satisfied patients, families, and employees.

What You Need

You need a current registered nurse license from the State Board of Nursing and a diploma from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university. No exceptions there.

• At least three years of full time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Two years of clinical experience in long term care nursing is preferred.
• One year in a management, administrative, or supervisory capacity is preferred.
• A BSN is preferred.
• You must keep current BLS/CPR certification and your RN license.

Pay and Benefits

The posted salary range is USD $41.00 to USD $45.00 per hour.
