What You'll Be Doing

You'll work out of our construction division, handling welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of metals. This means using a wire welder on carbon steel and stainless steel. You'll need to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan out your layouts.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Operate angle grinders to prep parts that need welding
• Set up, troubleshoot, and run welding machines per job specs and procedures
• Make sure your work is safe and meets quality standards
• Keep your workspace clean and organized
• Follow, create, and help maintain welding procedure specifications
• Test welds to evaluate quality and tolerance
• Inspect equipment and structures regularly; catch defects and fix them
• Handle maintenance tasks and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment

The Skills You Need

This role requires proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator with strong mechanical aptitude. You should be solid with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Familiarity with carbon steel and stainless steel is expected.

• Able to read technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards; you're willing to use protective gear like face shields and gloves
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills come with the territory
• A professional AWS welding certificate is a plus but not required upfront
• You can work independently or as part of a crew without issue
• A sharp eye for detail and good problem solving abilities are important here

The Schedule & Pay Details Are Simple Enough: $25 - $30 per hour.
