Medical Director

The Role

This Medical Director position at Southeast Community Animal Hospital blends hands on clinical practice with real leadership responsibilities. You won't just be managing cases ; you'll be shaping how medicine gets practiced here.

What You'll Do

• Guide clinical operations and develop medical protocols, standards of care, and best practices for the hospital
• Mentor, coach, and support associate veterinarians and the entire support staff
• Lead through evidence based medicine and strong client communication
• Build a positive team culture rooted in trust, accountability, and collaboration
• Partner with hospital leadership and Western Veterinary Partners to execute strategic goals and grow the practice

What You Bring

• You're a licensed DVM with experience practicing high quality veterinary medicine
• You have a passion for mentorship and hospital leadership
• You're comfortable driving clinical standards and fostering a team focused environment
• You bring evidence based thinking to both medical decisions and team development
• You want autonomy to influence hospital growth and shape what great care looks like

Schedule & Commitment

This is a full time role. You'll split your time between seeing patients and leading the medical team ; it's a working leader position, not a desk job.
