What you'll do

• A big part of the role is documentation; timely written reports of evaluations, visits, summaries, and progress notes are part of the deal.
• You'll participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning.

• Continuing education is expected; you'll attend internal development programs as required by company policy.

What you need to bring

The requirements are specific. We need someone who's properly credentialed and ready for the autonomy of home health.

• You must meet the education and experience requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC SLP) from ASHA.
• A minimum of six months working as a speech therapist or pathologist is required.
• Having some home health experience is a definite plus.
• A current, unrestricted state license to practice is mandatory.
• You need current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation aren't just nice to haves; they're required for getting to patient visits.
