What You'll Be Doing

You're the clinical leader on your unit. That means you'll guide a team of direct care providers to make sure medications and treatments go exactly as ordered, documentation is thorough, and families understand what's happening with their loved one. You'll lead care planning meetings and patient care conferences that follow the Health Campus Policies and Procedures.

Every day you'll walk your assigned unit to check on each resident ; both how they're doing physically and how they're doing emotionally. When something changes, you notify the charge nurse, the physician, or the Director of Nursing. You're also the one who spots problems and emergency situations and, if a physician isn't around, you start lifesaving measures immediately.

And yeah, there's paperwork. Administrative duties like completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting ; whatever's needed to keep things running right. You'll use the nursing process to deliver care and make sure there's continuity from the day a resident arrives until they go home.

What You Need

• A current, valid state RN license ; and you have to maintain it
• Current, valid CPR certification
