About This Role
Hey there. Got a note from a hospital in Fresno, CA that's looking to fill a spot on their interventional radiology team. They're expanding the department and need a Neuro Special Procedures Tech. Here's the deal.
The Work
You'd be working in their Interventional Radiology unit, which focuses on neuro procedures. It's a certified stroke center and a trauma center, so you're in the thick of it. They just finished building out a new hybrid neuro room, so you'd be using some pretty modern equipment.
The schedule is full time, day shift.
What You Need to Bring
- Your ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- You also need one of these: GMRT, RCIS, or LMRT.
- A current BLS certification is required.
- You'll need to get your ACLS certification within 90 days of starting.
A year of experience in vascular or cardiac angiography would be great, but it's not a deal breaker. Seriously. They are open to new grads for this role and are willing to provide training. If you're coming from a Cath Lab background, they're ready to cross train you into interventional radiology.
The Good Stuff
- The pay range is $65,000 to $125,000 per year.
- There's a $12,000 sign on bonus attached to this position.
- Relocation assistance is available if you need to move for the job.
- Medical, dental, and vision plans are part of the package.
- A 401(k) plan with a company match.
- Generous paid time off policy and paid parental leave.
- Options for flexible spending accounts (FSA), health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), and health savings accounts (HSA).
- Short term and long term disability coverage.
- Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment programs.
- They have what they call a "strong clinical ladder" for unlimited career growth internally, and they'll sponsor your specialty certification in Interventional Radiology.
A Bit About Them
This isn't just any hospital. It's a leading health system that gets ranked as one of the "Best Places to Work" pretty consistently. They've been on Fortune's list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For for nine years straight and were #1 on their Best Workplaces list for eight years in a row. In their metro area, LinkedIn has them as a top 25 company. The vibe is that they take care of their people so their people can take care of patients.
