X-Ray Technologist

We need a PRN CT/X Ray Technologist at Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. The schedule's variable, covering different days and shifts as needed. You'll be filling in when the team needs an extra hand.

What you'd do

You're the person running the scanners and making sure patients get what they need. It's a hands on tech role where you handle everything from routine X rays to more involved CT guided procedures.

• Perform all standard imaging and clinical duties for both CT and X Ray.
• Execute special imaging techniques as required.
• Assist Radiologists directly with interventional procedures that use CT for guidance.
• You're working with a full team across ultrasound, CT, diagnostic radiology, and nuclear medicine to deliver imaging services.

What you need to have

The paperwork matters here. We need to see these specific certifications and your background.

• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program is mandatory.
• A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• A Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.

A bit about the place

The hospital is a 54 bed acute care facility serving several communities in North Texas. It's built to grow. They've got 11 operating suites, two endoscopy suites, a cath lab, and an expanded ER with 12 rooms. The imaging side is robust; they offer a full range from emergency care to advanced surgery, with capabilities in robotic surgery, SPECT/CT, and nuclear medicine. Being available on weekends would be a plus for this PRN position.
