Senior Specialist, Product Management – Airport Innovation

Fort Worth, TX

This job is on the Airport Innovation team inside the Custom Experience Division. You won't be maintaining the status quo here. You'll be shaping the future of how people travel.

The core of this role is taking loosely defined problems and turning them into clear, strategic product directions. There's a lot of ambiguity to work with ; and that's exactly what you'll thrive on. You'll lead product discovery, map out complex processes, and align stakeholders around solutions before any development starts.

What you'll actually do

  • Lead early stage problem discovery ; define problem statements, map current and future states, get everyone on the same page about whether the fix is technology, process, or an operational change
  • Help shape Product Vision and Product Strategy tied to portfolio goals
  • Use your technical knowledge in areas like A/B testing, product architecture, continuous deployment DevOps practices, data models and analytics, querying languages, and automation tools to support your products
  • Communicate regularly about OKRs, the product roadmap, planned development work, upcoming releases, and anything that needs leadership's attention
  • Coordinate with other Product team members to manage dependencies across products and increments of value
  • Run continuous product discovery work ; keep finding valuable solutions that line up with your Product OKRs
  • Understand budgetary implications and organizational constraints when deciding where to focus
  • Use data to set baselines, measure outcomes share insights prioritize backlog items ; all of it
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking present new technologies identify unmet or underserved needs
  • Build and maintain a healthy backlog follow organizational standards present items to squads and external team members
  • Solicit input from product process and technology areas balance time sensitive improvements for both technical health and product health
  • Collaborate closely with UX Technology Vendors Risk Compliance Security ; all internal partners
  • Influence leaders squads peers around product strategy roadmap items OKRs upcoming releases ; not just report up but persuade sideways too
  • Stay agile in how you discover value deliver value continuously not locked into a single rhythm if it doesn't make sense

The qualifications you need to bring in the door

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field combined with 3 years experience in Product Management or Delivery (as a product analyst user researcher product owner or equivalent role)
  • Alternate path: 5 years of relevant work experience without that degree counts too.
